TRAINING WORKSHOP

Creating Competitive Grant Budgets and Timelines

There is no formula for creating competitive grant budgets with timelines that sufficiently describe the planned steps to execute the project, should it be awarded. Each grant opportunity, applicant organization, and potential sponsor situation is unique. This workshop will help to remove the mysteries of what works and doesn’t work when reasonably budgeting for grant project funding requests.Examples of awarded budget applications will demonstrate successfully crafted timelines and budgets.

Outcomes:

1) Discovering sponsor funding amount trends;
2) Understanding options available to achieve a fundable application budget;
3) Learning how to develop subaward budgets for partners that don’t compromise the full budget;and,
4) Knowledge of how to interpret and visualize budgets to understand how the project will be actualized.
