Completing a Grant Application Package: Start Here

How can you complete a competitive grant application if you have never read one or understood the ways in which to do this? Interpreting grant guidelines is essential to creating fundable grant proposals. This workshop demonstrates the art and science of how to do this and outlines the steps necessary to create complete and competitive proposals. Examples of customized checklists for specific guidelines, and successful proposals will offer practical models.

Outcomes:

1) Learning how to locate guidelines and determine the most important information hidden within these sometimes confusing documents;
2) Experiencing step-by-step processes to construct your application checklist;
3) Understanding ways to reach out to the program officer for additional information; and,
4) Knowing how to review successful proposals that follow proposal guidelines.
